Fixed the problem where the standby beep may sound approximately two seconds after receiving a reply when simply pushing PTT to key up the repeater. This occurred on transceivers using Version 1.03 or Version 1.04 firmware.
To update the firmware
Thoroughly read 13. UPDATING THE FIRMWARE of the ADVANCED MANUAL and follow the instructions in it.
Making a backup file of programmed contents and settings before updating the firmware is recommended.
